Class last night was really good! We talked more about groundin, centerin, and sheildin. Everythin is really startin to fall together. Some interestin things happened to me, Megs, and Cassie on the way home. Things that make me wonder what may be about to happen. But we got Megs back to her truck at Cassie's house to come and find out she locked her keys in her truck. We tried gettin into for awhile then Johnathon came out and tried but Meg's truck is practically impossible to break into. So we had to break the back passenger window inorder to get in. We didn't leave Cassie's house until 0130 in the mornin. It was crazy. I was so tired. Then I wound up stayin on the phone and talkin to Johnathan until 0330 so I'm pretty tired again today but it's alright. I don't have anythin to strenuous to do today except for goin to the gym.
It's really startin to hit me that I leave for basic soon and that I won't be able to see my friends and family for like five months. I'm gettin kinda scared but I'm not lettin it grab hold of me. But yea I leave for trainin in 12 days...crap. Well I don't know exactly what to expect but what I do know is that I WILL NOT fail myself or my friends or family. I will be the best soldier I can be cause my parents raised a strong independant stubborn fighter and I'm not gonna let a little fear and doubt hold me back! When I come back I will be fit and disciplined both mentally and physically. I will be at the top of my classes and I will be the best I can be! Cause honestly...thats all I know how to do. Be me and be the best at it. In five and a half months people wont recognize who I am. And I hope everyone is lookin forward to that cause I am!

First Time Since...
So for the first time since my ridin accident I rode bareback yesterday! I was so amazin!
I rode a woman's mare out on the trails at Rose Court bareback first. She was a poky little mare who liked to pull on the bridle and it was actually rather annoyin. But when Erin's horse that she was ridin spooked cause he didn't wanna go under a fallen tree all three horses spooked and little Belle just spun around and bolted a few feet while the other two just spun around. It was pretty fun actually and kind of a confidence booster.
After that I worked on sheddin out Bastian. He is almost done. I got out what would come out on his body. I still have to do his legs though and his body is still gonna shed more. So when I was done I wanted to ride but I didn't feel like tackin so. So I decided it was now or never. I put on his bridle and into the round pen we went. I couldn't get up un-assissted so I had to use the round pen fence as a make shit mountin block. It was interestin. But I got one and was really impressed. We walked, trotted, cantered, and cantered over a ground pole! He did so much better bareback than under saddle also. He really collected up and put his head down and went into a really nice gait. And it helped me to cause it helped my balance and when we went over the ground pole it showed me how I'm supposed to keep my weight back in my hip and how to bend at my hip instead of just leanin forward out of the saddle and throwin my weight forward. So overall it was really really really good and infact I plan on ridin mostly bareback until I leave!

Tattoos I Wanna Get
this is the tattoo my sisters and I are gonna get as soon as I get back* the word "Sisters" is gonna be in whatever our favorite colors are. I am gettin mine on my left inner wrist.
This is the tattoo I wanna get next. The two symbols are both Pagan symbols and the horses just cause my life revolves around horses. This one is gonna be between my shoulder blades right above my bra strap.
This I wanna get after I have kids. I want it exactly like this.
Take just the tribal design, no butterflies and not done to the curve of the ankle, and i wanna use that on both of my wrist tattoos turnin them into "bracelets".
This I want to get after kids and around my belly button.
This is also gonna be after kids and on my left hip/pelvic area howlin at the moon around my belly button.
This I am only usin as an example. Again this is gonna be after kids. On my right hip/pelvic area I want to get my kids astrological constellations tattooed. So say my kids was a Sagittarius this is what I would get (minus the actual centuar in the background)

This I wanna get under each collar bone. One on the left jumpin toward the left shoulder and the one on the right jumpin toward the right shoulder.

So, It is now crunch time. I have exactly 15 days before I leave for basic and I am gettin items on my list of things to do marked off one by one but as I do that I add more to the list. It never ends. Anyway...got alot of shit goin on with Dakoda right now (http://thelifeofdakoda.blogspot.com/). My life is really stressful right now so I wanna apologize for any short temperness I may display I'm just really at the end of my rope right now. But I have my animals, my friends, and my family all standin behind me so I know with the support of them I will make it through whatever the Gods and Goddesses throw in my path. I just have to take everythin as a learnin experience. Keep my chin up, chest out, smile on, and keep marchin. Say a few prayers for me if you don't mind and if you have a few seconds. Family Day!!!
So my mom, dad, little sister, and me went to Brookgreen Gardens yesterday for a family day! It was alot of fun! The flowers were in peak bloom and were just amazin! We did all kinds of things like the zoo, the trail with all kinds of animals, the butterfly house, went through all the gardens (which had a re-occurin theme to them...The Goddess Diana from the Greek Pantheon), and we even had a really nice picnic! The statues were amazin and the land was gorgeous and it was so peaceful! If I lived closer I would be a member thats for damn sure! But here are some pics from our day out. I'll upload more when I get my camera back (hint hint mom! lol!)

A Little Explanation
I mentioned in my first post that I am Pagan. I know alot of y'all don't understand what it is about or anything and I also know that there are ALOT of misconceptions about Paganism. I am going to set quite a few of them straight and hopefully teach y'all alittle about my religion.
So if you would open your eyes, ears, minds, and hearts we will begin...
First...We live by the Wiccan Rede which states "And Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will". This does not mean the if it doesn't hurt someone you can do whatever you want. It means that as long as it harms not you may follow your heart's desire.
Second...We also live our lives by going into everything we do and everone we meet with perfect love and perfect trust.
Third...We do not pass judgement. We are merely humans, just like any other religion out there, we are not Gods or Goddesses so who are we to pass judgement on people. Alot of you out there judge people on every little thing such as height, weight, looks, money, religion, political views, the list could go on and on. But who are you, who are we, as humans, to pass judgment on anybody? We are merely human. As since we are merely human our job on Earth is not to pass judgement but to accept everyone for who they are and to live our lives in a way that would make who ever you choose to worship proud. That is our job as a human in any religion. I don't pass judgement on you for your religious path so don't pass judgment on me for my religious path.
Fourth...We worship many deities, yes. But if you wanna get both technical and literal take a look at other religions. Alot of other religions also worship many Gods and Goddesses. And those of you who only worship Jesus and/or God take a look at your saints. Our Goddess, who gave birth to our God, is your Mary, who gave birth to Jesus. Now this one may be confusin but our God is also your God. Our God is reborn through our Goddess. So our God is your God and your Jesus. Now look at all the saints you have (whether you worship them or just recognize them). Your saints are our other Gods and Goddesses.
Fifth...Yes we cast spells and do rituals. That is our way of worshipping our religious paths. Just like other people go to church or what not. Nature is our church. Just cause we don't have a day each week where we have a mass congregation to worship does not mean we are livin our lives wrong. We worship in everything we do in our every day lives. Yes alot of y'all on other paths do the same but alot of y'all don't. So don't judge us cause we are more in touch with nature and don't need a building to worship.
Sixth...We are not Satanists and we do not worship him. In fact we don't even acknowledge Satan, the Devil, Hell or anything of that source. Saying we are Satanists or worship him is like sayin an Atheist worships or beleives in God. We do not sacrifice anything in our rituals or spellwork and we do not harm anyone or anything. We do not beleive that our deities would make us suffer for all of eternity because we made a few mistakes. Our deities love us too much to be able to cause pain like that to us. We are their children and they love us just as we love them.
Seventh...We live by the three fold law which basically says that anything you do, good or bad, will come back to the person who caused the harm three times. And its not necessarily one thing three times. It can be three things three times. There are many possibilities. We fear and have respect for this law therefor we only do good. The only exception to this law is if you harm something out of self-defense.
Eigth...You wanna say are religion is wrong or not a real religion then you are basically sayin that your religion is wrong and not a real religion. This is so because Paganism IS THE OLDEST RELIGION IN THE WORLD. Simple as that. We have be worshiping long before Catholocism or Christianity or any other religion came along. In fact when the settlers came over here to "convert" us and "show us the wrong of in our beliefs" I would like to note just how many things y'all took from us and incorporated into your religion. First example is the arch y'all use for doors in your church well that arch is a symbol of our Goddess and fertility. The second example is the Frankisence y'all use around Christmas is used in our religion to dispel negativity, purify magickal places, protection against evil, and to honor Pagan Deities. The third example are the Gargoyles on cathedrals and even the church uses them for the same reason we do, to protect and warn against evil. The fourth example, as discussed before, you saints, Mary, God, and Jesus. The Fifth example is the times of the year all your holidays; Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc; were our first. They were just called different names. None the less y'all incorporated them into your religion. The alter in the catholic church, yes that came from us as well. The chalice y'all drink the "blood" out of was taken from us. Now lets look a little deeper...into Jesus' "birthday". Jesus was not born on December 25th...science has proven this. When the settlers came over and tried to convert us we refused to give up that one of few things...our God's birthday...December 24th. So the settlers moved Jesus' birthday to our God's birthday to try and keep peace. If anyone is more interested in learning what the church has taken from the Pagan religion I recommend the book "Papal to Pagan" and unfortunately I don't know the author. I saw it in Books-a-Million and read a little of it and it really does point out what the church took from us.
So now that my religion has been broken down and things have been made clear before you pass judgement on me and my religious path take a look at your self and yours. Are you living your life in the way that would make your God or Jesus or whoever happy? I don't think so...cause they would not want you to pass judgement. That is their job not yours. Everyone passes judgment when they die and it is done by deities. Not us, not humans. You are mean to others and say unspeakable things and you think you can get away with it becuase all you have to do is donate to the church or go to confession and say 10 Hail Mary's or whatever the priest assigns and everything will be ok. Well its not. Saying those 10 Hail Mary's did not make the person you hurt feel better. It did not take away the words you said or the action you did. So again before you pass judgment on my life and my path know this...
I do not pass judgement. I accept everyone and everything for who and what they are. I try to live my life in a way that I know I will make my deities proud that I am their daughter. I go into everything with perfect love and perfect trust. I mind the three-fold law and I mind the Wiccan Rede.
If after all of this you still think I am living my life wrong then that is your opinion but I will not tolerate such closed-mindedness and ignorance in my life. If you have a problem with me and my path then no one says you have to be my friends or acknowledge my existance.
Now I want to make it clear that if you are going to post a comment I want you to think before you do so..."Is what I'm about to say going to hurt someone? Is it mean or cruel?" I will use a phrase I heard so much growin up...If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. If you genuinlly are curious or have questions please feel free to ask and I will help you to understand as best as I can.
If you do not like what I have had to say thats fine. Do not say anything mean or spiteful or that isn't somethin nice. And if you do not wish to be my friend anymore because you don't like what I have to say then let me know and I will forget you as a friend and you can live your life like I never existed. Bout Time
Well I decided that since my horse and my dog have a blog I may as well start one for myself.
I am 20 years old and I have two siblings. An 18 year old sister named Kaitlin and an older sister named Sheryl. My dad is the best dad in the world as well as my mom. They are both turnin out to be the coolest parents in the world. (Don't tell them I said that). I am a straight forward and honest person but I try not to hurt someone's feelings if I have to be straight forward with them. I am a pagan and have been since I was 17 (for those of you who don't understand what Paganism is ask and I will answer).

I am in the Army National Guard. I leave for basic April 25th (yes in three weeks). I'm nervous but I know I will be fine. When I get back from trainin I'm gettin a job, livin with my parents to save money so I can buy my own land and start a small equine facility, goin back to college to finish my Criminal Justice Associates degree, then goin active duty, followed by Officer Training School. Once I finish officer school I am gonna start lookin for the place I want to retire and will start payin it off and buildin my official equine facility while I am active duty. I will go ahead and start bringin in people to work the farm while I am gone and will start boarding and breeding cause I can hire people to handle that part. Then when I retire I will open to lesson students and to people who want their horses trained. Somewhere in there I may get married and I may have kids but honestly I'm tired of males liein to me and hurtin me so I'm kinda at the point where I'm just tellin them to go screw themselves.
I love trucks and I love guns.
I think that covers me so I am hoppin off for now.
